Last week we touched on four things you can do to get better results with your email campaigns. Here’s four more for you to consider:
1) Engage prospects. Use newsletters to keep people abreast of industry changes or changes within your own company. Send them information on things they want or need to know about.
2) Get feedback. Use surveys and order follow-up. Offer something for taking the time to fill out the feedback form, such as a discount on their next order or being entered in a drawing that has a fat grand prize.
3) Keep it small. The larger the file size of your email, the greater the potential recipients cannot open it or receive it. So keep it under 40K to be safe.
4) Weave online and offline together. Use all mediums for branding and for offering your unique product or service. Sending direct mail recipients to your website is a nice approach that leads to soft sales (which is the only way some people will buy from you).
